Issue is start up chime, then loops. I unplugged the battery to break this cycle. I plug the battery back in with charger, it automatically turns on, hear the chime, then loops. keep hearing the chime. looks as if back light of screen attempts to come on, then back to the chime. This happens when removing the battery, using charger power only. I removed the ssd, and touchpad flex.. no change in behavior. would this be a sign of bad ram? This screen does not turn white, nor do I Get to the apple logo. The only “change” is when ssd was removed, the speaker sounded static at the end of the chime before restarting.
Probably not a RAM problem, that wouldn’t even allow boot chime. Hard to tell what might be wrong, bootloops are the faults I hate most to repair as they often turn out to be rabbit holes. It might be a CPU problem but without any other hints it could be almost anything. Without logic board history and testing is pure guessing.
