I have a Mid-2012 MacBook Pro (9,2) with a bad non SSD hard drive. I also have a Late 2013 MacBook Pro Retina with a bad screen. My hope is to take the SSD drive from the Late 2013 MacBook Pro Retina and place it in the Mid 2012 MacBook Pro (non retina) to give it new life. Can this be done? I can’t seem to find the right adapter or internal bracket to use the SSD hard drive. Hard drive model is MZ-JPU512T/0A6 Thanks in advance!
The Retina uses a Blade, the non-retina uses a 2.5” hard drive. So the answer is no. Actually I don’t know of any parts that are interchangeable on these two machines. Just different animals.
