Hello Guyz, My laptop is not working hence went to Apple Store. They said SSD is damaged and i need to replace it. Then I diagnosed my laptop from local store. They found out that my SSD is working properly. There is problem with connector where we insert SSD. They are telling me to pay 200 to 350 Euros for that. What is the right price to pay for this repair? Thanks in advance for your valuable inputs. Best Regards, Pratik.
In logic board repair one has always to take into account that something might go wrong, but in any case a 350€ bill would be pretty expensive for such a quite straightforward repair and it’s almost double than the 200€ bottom quote. Consider on the EU market a used 2017 MBA logic board can be purchased for 350/400€. I’d recommend trying to find a second and third repair option with a straightforward quote..I can’t see any good reason for such a big quote range.
