I split a drink on my MacBook Pro and it won’t turn on I opened it up thinking it was the logic board but it has no water damage. When I disconnect the battery and plug it in the green power light comes on but the computer does not turn on. I have no idea what is wrong how should I troubleshoot.
I had this problem too on my mid 2012 macbook pro, i did as you did opened it up and tried to dry it up but is would boot up, so i tried a few things but by disconnecting the keyboard from the motherboard, my computer successfully booted up via external keyboard. Try this. i hope this helps
