I spilled a good amount of water onto my closed MacBook Air. I didn’t turn it off immediately because I didn’t know that’s what you were supposed to do. I did dry off all the water around the sides and it seemed to be working fine. I came back a little later and tried to turn it on but it had turned its self off on its own. I stupidly plugged in the charger thinking the battery might have coincidentally been dead. The green light did come on but eventually started to flicker. I currently have the device flipped over and am letting it dry. Wondering if it’s hopelessly broken or if there’s still a chance it could work? Please help!
drying the outside wont help alot you will need to open it, disconnect the battery and check for liquid on the motherboard
