hi everyone my mac is very important to me i was using it one day and water spiled on it which i never new about when i went to turn it on it didnt work i left it sitting for a couple of months and it wont start and ideas? please reply
Most likely corrosion or a blown logic board. Electrons and water don’t mix. Running it could have shorted out many things inside. You need to tear it down and clean any corrosion, and look for burned swollen parts on the logic board. Use the solution button on the right. - What model Mac?
- Verify that it was on when the water spilled.
- Where did the water go?
- How long was it running with the water spill?
- Any other sounds, smells, etc?
