I spilled about 2 oz ( guessing ) of water with crystal light ( caffeinated ) on the keyboard area of my MacBook Pro. It was on when I spilled it. I was very fast to dry it off, and quickly turn the computer off. I then used my blow dryer on the cold setting , and my fiance took the back off of the computer. We noticed a drop of water by the fan, but nothing else. Continued to blow dry the computer with the back off. I have it sitting upside down now. What should I do? I am so worried I ruined the most expensive thing I own. Please help!

Here is a link to a previous answer to this question. Please read carefully—first thing REMOVE the battery and power. Good luck. What should I do after I spill liquid on my device?

Question in terms of the assembly of this specific device. Is it possible to fry the keyboard module but not the logic board? I had a spill, and did all my normal drying techniques for airing the system out. But I am wondering if the fact the power button is not working is something to due with the keyboard itself, or it is the logic board or power module… neither of those look to have any issues.

k I spilled water on my macbook, wiped up instantly - its working ok but is making a sizzling noise…do I still unplug and take battery out
