Hello, I spilled my coffee after it tangled with the charge cable of my laptop and it also made it on my phone. I quickly took the phone and wiped off the milk. As per apple’s suggestion on the website, I rinsed the earpiece speaker with water. I also tried playing “water removing” sounds on youtube. Earpiece speaker is not completely dead, but it sounds muffled. Any suggestions on what I can do? Happened approx 2 hours ago. I read that it takes around 24h to completely dry. I wanted to know if there’s anything extra I could do. Thanks
I would take the phone apart, disconnect the battery, remove the motherboard, and clean the motherboard with Isopropyl (Rubbing) Alcohol. Let everything sit to dry for a few hours.
