accidentaly I spill coffee (with sugar) on my keyboard, first i try to put my mac upside down with opened display so the coffee will go down by gravity and I put some tissue to absorb the liquid. afterall, I leave my mac on those position within 2 days, and I try to turn on and testing my keyboard keycap on spilled area and everything was smooth like nothing happen. after1 hour, the keycap within spilled area going sticky but the function of each keycaps still fine. Is there any advice to fix this without bringing my mac to apple store? because in my country there’s no Apple store, its only authorized service provider. Sadly, this is going to cost you ;-{ Spills are the most damaging. Given the age of your system your only hope is Apple as independent shops just can’t get parts yet. In this case Apple has pushed to far with its engineering making so you will need to replace the full upper case assembly on liquid damaged systems when the keyboard is affected. Older systems we could replace the keyboards alone, now its getting harder and nearly impossible as its now fully riveted in!
