The speedometer needle moves on engine startup but not during movement of the car. All other instrument cluster needles move OK. Odometer is not recording any increase in mileage during movement of the car.
Theo, this is most likely a problem with the instrument cluster or the speed sensor. Instrument clusters made after 2000 have Stepper Motors to drive all the gauges including the speedometer. I’d start with the speed sensor since it is a lot cheaper. Hope this helps, good luck.
