This is a very weird issue i’m facing I hope someone can help me. All of a sudden my iphone 6s front microphone (speaker microphone) stopped working. To be exact when i tried a video selfie one second it’s not working after few second it works. And when im on a call and I use the speaker no one can hear me. I did replace the microphone/earpiece just to be on the safeside. Is it a software issue? Since there are times it’s working and times it’s not? (sidenote: all other microphones are working! )
You have three microphones on your iPhone, the one used during calls is part of the lightning assembly on the bottom, the one used with front camera is right beside the camera. If you are experiencing troubles with both you may have a problem with the audio IC, it might happen if the phone experienced bad drops in its life.
