I’m intrested in buying a used 2013 macbook pro 13" but the seller states that sound does not work with internal speakers or 3.5mm headphone jack. So the the question is can this be fixed or is there a sound card I could replace?
The sound chip and sound ports are integrated into the motherboard. Unless you know how to solder and what chip and ports to solder, I would take caution. The only other way to get sound is via Bluetooth headphones or speakers. Find out from the seller if bluetooth audio works.
