Gonna close this down now as I am pretty certain we can’t go any further. I am 98% certain that the fault is on the logic board and that is not a part I can either fix or replace as Sony no longer supply them. Oldturkey03, many thanks for your help! Stay well :)
@ragnarmop start by following the troubleshooting flowchart. Let us know what you find out.
Update 07/29/2021 @ragnarmop you are giving up to early :-) I finally got my hands on the complete service manual. Use that to complete the troubleshooting. ==»Slide 1«== The schematic is a bit weird to look at. It is in layers and I am not sure how to open the individual layers in a PDF and have not had time to play around with it. It’s getting a bit crazy at work….again. Don’t give up yet!
