The battery and SD memory chip will not lock down properly. The little tab that holds them down may be missing.

Gerald Malorzo, thank you for posting some good images. Yes, you are definitely missing the battery eject lever which locks the battery and the memory card. I do have a partslist but do not see it separately listed. I will let you know when I find it. Hope this helps, good luck.
