My Vizio M60-C3 TV has begun to not work properly(and is out of warranty). It started a few weeks ago and has gotten progressively worse. Most of the time when I turn it on the screen will get grey for a moment and then turn to almost black, having never shown the Vizeo “V” icon. Pushing buttons will make different areas of the TV lighten up, showing that it is bringing up menus and icons. BUT maybe on the 3rd or the 9th, or the 20th time it will turn on and function as normal. I know it is going to work when I see the Vizio Icon.

We would need to see what your boards and the wiring looks like. Post some images of your boards with your question. Adding images to an existing question Vizio also has issues with poorly soldered connectors. you may have to resolder the ribbon cable connectors. Check for cold solder joints. You can sometimes tell by the way the solder looks. If it appears dull compared to a shiny silver it could be a cold solder connection.
