hey people, i did an meson ic repair, but the phone restarts sometimes. also the visual disapears sometimes, when putting the lightning cable in for example. and sometimes when i start the phone there is no backlight and visual. and sometimes its bootlooping. what could this be? do i have to search around the dock connector? or is this something where the backlight filtes are? hope somebody can help me. :)
My suspicion would be too much heat, even if you don’t think it to be the case. The edge of the CPU and you also have a row of passives that affect the camera, backlight etc directly opposite Meson. You may also have shorted some pins underneath Meson. At this point you could try pulling Meson again, inspect the M1 pad (for your touch issues) and try booting the phone without it. If it still bootloops, then your problem is elsewhere.
