When I was watching a show, I noticed that half of the screen looked kind of comic book-y and odd. I exited the window and the screen flashed to black for a second and I noticed that the bottom half of my screen had a green tinge. I could see a few horizontal lines running through it too. Now when I watch the show, I see flashes of purple and red and other colors that shouldn’t be there. I haven’t dropped my phone and it has no water damage or anything so idk what the problem is. Will I need to get a new screen?
Dial *#0# cycle through the colours and see when the screen goes funny. It does sound like the AMOLED display may be damaged but I would try updating/restoring just to elminate the chance of a software issue. Samsung offer 2 years warranty so will fix this problem free of charge, don’t bother taking it to a repair shop as not only will it void your warranty but will cost you a fortune
It seems to me that your LCD is damaged, Have you had it replaced before, is it the stock screen? Also it could be a lose cable that connects to the lcd.
