I’m tried replacement the touch screen. but, it is fail. lcd dosen’t turn on. however, this will change the lcd change. The real problem is strange in software. iPad’s power turn on. but, when turn the cover back, I hear locked sound. Why is that?

Smart Cover being used with magnet in it? Or using magnetised object on iPad? Probably in contact with the smart cover lock sensor. I think there is nothing wrong with the software and did you unplug the battery first before unplugging and plugging the LCD cable? If you didn’t then most likely the backlight circuit needs to be diagnosed. Might be a backlight filter blown. Have you checked if the LCD is showing display with no backlight? I think you shine flashlight to check if it’s showing very dim display.

I’m having trouble understanding your question, but it sounds like you may be having trouble with your iPad Mini 2 screen staying dark or turning off when your cover is on it. It’s possible that the sensors in the new screen are detecting the magnets in the smart cover when it’s fully opened (they’re only supposed to detect the cover when it’s closed). Does the same problem happen when the iPad is not in the case and doesn’t have the cover?

Did you remember to Transfer the Magnets from the old Digitizer to your replacement Digitizer?
