Contact Apple, tell them the problem and see if you’re qualifies on the battery recall and/or magsafe recall.: http://www.apple.com/support/contact/pho… Remove the battery and plug in the MagSafe and start up and tell us what happens with the light.
Your machine is to young for a problem like that, you may need a new I/O board replacement. For now, make sure that the power adapter connector is free of any type of debris matter and that those small contact pins are not distorted in any way. Remove the battery prior to working with the AC adapter pins on your Macbook Pro and DO NOT use anything that might mess up that magnetize feature.
I’ve tried replacing the I/O board on a macbook pro with this exact problem, and it didn’t resolve the issue. It was a relatively inexpensive and easy repair that seems worth the chance.
