Chosen Solution
Im looking on working on some charge ports for many cell phones and was wondering what would be a good soldering wire to use on cell phone pcb’s, Size, Ratio and lead or lead-free. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
Most, if not all devices are now assembled using lead free solder as it is a requirement to be in the European market (ROHS) I would suggest using something like 1mm Lead Free Solder
I use 63/37 lead solder to repair most smd components. I use 62/36/2 to solder charge ports. I always use a good quality flux it can make a world of difference in the solder quality.
