I have a 60’ LG TV (60uf7300). It powers on, but only shows snow and if i’m lucky it will show the channel number at the top behind the snow, kind of flickering. I can’t get the menu to pull up. Sometimes when i turn it on there is a pink hue coloring half of the screen. After checking capacitors I tried replacing the tcon board, which helped a little I guess (i can now see the LG boot logo behind vertical colored lines). I tried disconnecting the TCON and get a solid white screen. Tried disconnecting the Main Board and get a Colored screen that changes colors every few seconds.
I’m torn on what it could be.. ribbon cables (they look ok)? Main board? Power board? Any help is appreciated!
Hi @bludpuuk , Here’s a link to the service manual for the TV. Scroll to p.2 of the Troubleshooting section to see the flowchart for the no video/no audio problem. This should help determine if it is the power board or the mainboard that is the problem
