I plugged my charger in to charge my phone, the charger started smoking. I immediately pulled the charger out. The charging hole on iPhone smells of smoke and the phone won’t turn on nor does it show its charging! Any ideas help please. Already tried hard rest

Uhh..well..hard to say. You’ll have to take the phone apart. It is possible you could relate the lightning dock and maybe the battery. Your charging block may be damaged. This happens to non OEM. Cords/blocks. In sum cases I found the power block voltage spiked and sent to much power to the phone and it burned the ribbon cord that connects the power port to the main board.

My iPhone 5s recently just did that. And the really nothing apple will do. You would’ve thought as good as they strive to be, they’d be helpful.

the exact same thing happened with mine ive had so many chargers or my i phone and i got a new one yesterday and i put my phone on charge and realised the charger was smoking so i took it out and there was a hole on the charger , i didnt know what to do so i took it out and waited for it to be cooled down and the iphone sed it was charging, so i just left it and came back to it yesterday and now it wont turn on at all. i dont know what to do lmao
