Chosen Solution

During a HDMI replacement on a PS4, i dislodged and lost one of the SMD resistors to the right of the port. Dose anyone know the value of this resistor.

That’s a diode and it actually will work just fine without it. If you want to replace it your best bet is to get one from a junk PS4 motherboard. Hope this helps.

It’s not just a diode - it is a VDZT2 series 5,6V Zener diode. It protects DDC bus (clock line) from electrostatic discharges and electrical surges, so it is absolutely necessary to prevent from further and more expensive-to-repair damages. There are plenty of replacements available, eg. CDZVT2T5-6B or CDZFHT2RA5.6B (both available in Farnell). Saying that the console will work fine without this protection is just asking for troubles - I ‘m really concerned how such an irresponsible advice from @tronicsfix could be marked as Solution?

Good evening, I want to know how to get or where to download the schematic circuit chart of PS4 and three. If you have, kindly forward to my mail. palmpursenew@gmail.com. Thanks in anticipation.
