Some water got spilled on the keyboard and after a bit it started acting up. Some of the keys still work fine but some do weird things like if you press 1 it types 12 and 2 will also type 12 and 3 doesn’t work at all, it’s like this for the left side of the keyboard. I saw fixit sells a keyboard for this model but I couldn’t find installation instructions. Do I have to take the whole computer apart to replace the keyboard and is there a “how to". Thanks
To add to @mayer ‘s answer If you find that is too difficult the other option is to replace the uppercase assembly MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Mid 2015) Upper Case Assembly depending on your batteries health you may want the one with a fresh battery & trackpad. And here’s the guide MacBook Pro 15" Retina Display Mid 2015 Upper Case Assembly Replacement FYI: You’ll need to get this far and a bit more to replace the keyboard.
Here’s a video one how to do it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0L38wDZ…
