Hi all, My gen 5 had a damaged digitizer and LCD. It worked fine except the top right section wouldn’t operate by touch and some lines vertical and horizontal from this area. I replaced both the digitizer and the LCD. What is interesting is the exact same area of the screen still doesn’t work. Any ideas? Thankyou Update (10/29/2020) 12345

What I’m finding odd is the screen test shows it to be improving by touch yet when trying to touch the screen in normal view it isnt any better than the original area that’s not responsive.
@axelhow since this is the identical area that is unresponsive my money would be on the touchscreen IC or possibly the connector being an issue. This sounds like a board level repair and you may need to connect with people that do that type of repair. I’d be contacting @refectio or @imicrosoldering and see what they have up their sleeve.
