Hello, I have an Iphone 6s, i dropped it and smashed the screen. I had the screen replaced. the screen looks great and all but about 25% of the screen is unresponsive, literally like a strip does not work. If you are to count from the left to right their are 4 icons across the screen the strip is the third icon from the left and stretchers vertical across the whole phone. Is this just an install issue or new screen issues or is my phone more damaged then i thought?
It’s most likely a bad screen. On the iPhone 6S, all of the Touch driver circuitry is embedded in the screen assembly so any Touch related issues are almost certainly screen related. As @danj suggests, bring it back to the shop so they can resolve the issue.
