I think this is the best place to ask something like this, but my monitor that I purchased has an issue at the bottom of the screen. Here are some pictures of it. https://i.imgur.com/lo5CwKD.png https://i.imgur.com/vHZP6mC.png

It might be dead pixels or something? I am using a display port 1.2 cable into a 1080 in my pc, and it’s not the cable’s issue. I tried replacing that and it still is there. It’s hard to describe what it looks like besides the photos, but when I look straight on it becomes completely flat with the monitor and when I change my viewing angle to look at it somehow it affects the pixels around it, so I am assuming its some kind of border plastic that got miscut. Is there any way to DIY fix this? I am fine with voiding my warranty.

Stewart Shining  that looks like a bent diffuser sheet. For that you would have to completely disassemble your monitor and the panel. If you do take it apart make sure that you keep the diffuser sheets in order!!! To make a definite diagnosis you’d have to take it apart.
