Hi everybody, I am trying to repair my SM-T800 (WIFI, black) because the whole Display (LCD + Digitizer) is broken. My plan is to buy a display of a SM-T805 (LTE, white) and put it into the SM-T800 (WIFI). Now my questions: Is possible to merge the two models? Where are the differences? Could there be any problems? Thanks a lot in advance! :-)
Hi! You can merge the two models. The difference between the Wi-Fi and the LTE model is the SIM slot on the motherboard, but that does not affect the display assembly at all, so go ahead with your repair.
Bonjour (Hello in French) Do someone know if I can merge the motherboards of the T805 (the LTE 4G model) and the T800 (the WiFi model) ???? In other words, can someone confirm the sence of Alex Niculescu, saying “the difference between the Wi-Fi and the LTE model is the SIM slot on the motherboard,… A friend of mine gave me a unserviceable Samsung T800 WiFi model. He wanted to change the USB charger connector but he broke connectors of the motherboard that is broken. I found some T800 and T805 motherboard (the price is nearly the same) Of course,if this modification is possible, I imagine I will have to modified the plastic backframe to insert the SIM card.
