Hello there, Just got an weird issue , i repaired an ipad mini 4th gen. everything works well except the sleep button wont work. but it does work as power on/off . i Know what most gone say now: Bad digitizer , Nope tried 3 screens tested screens on other ipad mini 4 and their it does work. any had this problem to? would love to hear how you solved this.
Transfer the Hall effect sensor, it’s a small component near the home button. Without the sensor the machine asserts the cover signal as attached so the sleep/wake function is completely latched. The power button cannot be used for sleep/wake in this situation, only power off works.
