Okay so I have done a few iPhone 7 screen repairs with success (with iOS 11 software). This is my first iPhone 7 Plus with the iOS 11.2.1. I did my normal routine screen repair, started back up and as I tested all the functions of the phone Now Siri cannot hear me and whenever I go to do a video the phone freezes and restarts. I have a hard time believing there has been damage to the cables. I can take pictures with both front and rear camera, I can do voice memos, but I cannot do dictation within text messages. So some random features seem to no longer work after this screen replacement. Tonight I will be attempting to put the original screen back on to ensure its not a damaged part. I have done a reset and a complete restore. deleted everything back to its factory settings as this phone is going up for sale (once its fixed up). Any suggestions?? Help!!

Your initial thought is the best first step. Try re-installing the original screen. If that makes everything work, then you probably have a defective replacement screen. I would also pay close attention to the FCAM/Sensor flex. Even a tiny bit of damage, such as a tear or proximity sensor damage can cause issues with the phone. You can find the replacement guide here and a replacement part here.
