Hi @hussnain , What is the model number of your laptop? Have any liquids been spilled on the keyboard at all? Try using a USB keyboard plugged into the laptop and check if it works OK. If it does, then most probably you’ll have to replace the laptop’s keyboard. When trying to fix a keyboard you can create more problems than what you had originally. The best option is to replace it.

Press the alt key to the right of the space bar (alt ), and the key above the enter key “\” . This should provide a backslash!
