hey I just recently bought a new note 10.1 and wanted to insert my macro sim with adaptor so i can use my inlimited data on tablet .But as i removed the sim after small pieces of metal came out as well and now i need to replace the sim card tray and i cant find any directions or manuals how i will do it
You will need to replace your SIM card tray. You probably broke the SIM reader. If you don’t do anything to fix it you can’t use it on mobile data. It will be a WiFi only tablet. iFixit doesn’t have a guide for this. You will need to find one online or refer to the teardown to replace it.
Easy way: Find a plug-in new sim tray part Harder way: ( I am about to do this): Carefully desolder sim tray shield, find some unusable old phone matching inner socket transplant it in place of the broken one solder back
