I just replaced back and front housing (twice) and everything works except for 1. (most important) After the second replacement the phone shuts down and then turns itself back on every few minutes. I went back in and the battery connection to logic board seems solid. I unplugged and plugged back in. No improvement. 2. Since the initial replacement the main camera and flashlight aren’t working anymore. Black when I turn it on. No video. Selfie camera works fine, but won’t take videos either. I know iPhone 13 does that on purpose with non-apple parts, but this is 11. Same after I installed a different set of housings.. I’m an amateur iPhone fixer, so please explain fully.

The cause of the phone restarting will most likely be the dock assembly. If it is faulty the phone will reboot every three minutes. As for the rear camera if you have tried updating the software you will need to try a replacement camera.

Hi Aleksandra, One of the senior contributors here, Alisha C (@flannelist), has written an excellent guide to Apple Kernel Panic errors. There are certain sensors on the phone that the operating system checks every three minutes, and if it cannot read a particular sensor, it generates a fatal error (a kernel panic) and reboots the system. Chris (@imicrosoldering) gave you the most common sensor error; that of a temperature sensor on the dock connector, but apparently that wasn’t the problem on your phone (it’s always possible you got a replacement with a bad or missing sensor, but let’s save that for later). What you’ll want to do at this point is to follow Alisha’s Wiki page to access the panic log on your phone and find out exactly which sensor is causing your kernel panics. iPhone Kernel Panics - iFixit Once you’ve located the panic log, take a screenshot or download it to your question and the users here can take a look and see if we can figure out exactly what you need to do to fix that error once and for all. Definitely also worth your time checking out Alisha’s other Wiki on iPhones that reboot themselves; they have a lot of good information in there. iPhone Keeps Restarting - iFixit Let us know what you find.
