Sorry guys for interrupting you but I kinda have a problem with my MacBook 820-2330-A.The machine shows green light but cannot power on,however when I press the power button and then plug the charger in the machine comes on but fans run at a very high speed and there is no backlight.I’m new to this stuff and I don’t know what to do…please someone help.
That points to an SMC circuitry failure as what you’re doing to start it is an SMC bypass. It’s a logic board issue that needs in depth probing and a component level repair, or a logic board replacement, which would be more suited from a DIY approach.
