Mine wouldn’t even come on, it shown the red led when plugged in to power, but no sign of anything on the screen. I replaced main board, now it blinks a few times and you can see that the led it lit but no picture or info when I press menu/input ect. What should I try now? Update (09/26/2018)
. My board Update (09/26/2018) Yes same model Sanyo fw65d25t, I changed out the main board and then the t-con board to. Still no menu/input menus pop up or picture. Before it wouldn’t even come on if I hit power, the led would just stay lit, now it just blinks a few times and lights up the background.
@thud84 it is entirely possible that this is caused by a bad power supply. Your main board may not get the power etc. it needs. Since you already changed the main board and the t-con board (assuming that both boards are good boards) then the next thing would be the power board. Yes, it gets the backlight enable and turns the backlight on (signal coming from the main board) but may not supply the main board as needed. Masure teh voltages on CN1 and let us know what you find. Those are DC voltages. Black probe to ground and measure with red probe on contacts.
