Chosen Solution
LED tv, started with speakers, turn on tv get normal sound for about 3 min then an unbearably loud static noise. About a month later the screen went black, turn the tv on good picture for a couple min then black. A week later doesnt turn on at all and just slowly blinks power light. I seriously doubteach component just failed back to back. What do ya think? Power supply board or main board? Didnt notice any bad capacitors…its a 600$ tv might as well try a 40$ board…
It ended up being the Main Board for anyone that has this same problem.
@jorricha the caps all look good. There is something tha looks odd on your power supply. It appears as if something got a bit hot. Of course there are no schematics readily available so I can not determine where those jumpers come from or what they bridge. On a hunch based on the discoloration I’d go with the power supply. ~$25 on ebay DPS-111EP
