The iPhone 6S was working fine the night before but in the morning was dead. Tried doing a hard reset, the screen flashed for 5 seconds and went dead. Apple store diagnostics said phone is not repairable. Took to a cell phone repair shop and tested with new battery and display - it did not come on. The only option is that the logic board could be out. Should i attempt to fix logic board? Is there anything else I should try before I fix the board? Thanks Dan.
The iPhone 6S is still a very valuable device. I would certainly consider having the Logic Board repaired. Most shops that specialize in micro-soldering use a no fix/no fee pricing model so you don’t have much to lose. You can check out my profile for more info or search google for other shops that also do no fix/no fee..
