I’m not sure if I should replace the iPod’s battery? Is it easy to do, I heard that people have broken theirs by trying to do it themselves. I have never soldered anything together or apart before, I watched ways to replace your battery. They seem pretty difficult to me. What to do guys think I should do to replace my iPod’s battery?
Hey mate, Before you replace your battery, give your iPod a full restore and set it up as new, then use it for a day. You will probably find that it behaves the way that you would like it - usually it’s software which kills the battery and not the actual battery itself. If it is still not appreciably better after a full restore, then you should consult a battery change and judge your skills and consider whether it’s better to send it in or to do it yourself. Cheers.
