Hello, I got a HP officejet 4315 All-in-one printer which works fine but the 21 black is empty(checked under the label too) And the reason i am unsure about refilling the black is the printer was from a garage of one of my neighbors who gave it to me and it was in a box of thier daughters stuff possibly from college and was gonna be in the trash anyway and god knows how long its been there
having had various experiences from refilling cartridges ive learnt some valuable lessons 1 is not to leave a cartridge empty for to long the other is that ive found that you need to make sure the ink your using is compatible with your printer. remember if you going to try and refill your cartridge disposable gloves are a must and disposable kitchen towel don’t over fill your cartridge and once installed back in the printer get it to do a head clean and print a test page you may need to do this several times but once the ink is flowing all will be well . So give it a go then you can post if it has worked or not .
