Hello I got this iPhone 7 qualcomm version. There is short on line PP_2V7_LDO12 which is causing baseband issue. Is it safe to inject 3V-4V on this line to find shorted component? Thanks
Is it a full short or partial short? I wouldn’t go past 3V. The component that’s shorted might not even show heat with 5V it all depends on the component and your equipment for finding the heat. Remember it is the wattage that produces the heat. Also remember that this line has filters which feed other lines. If you plan using a higher voltage it would pay to remove those filters.
