while i solder the battery for my iphone 2g i notice sparking and i notice i short crcuit the esd wire with the metal covering the communication board is that mean the com.board is gone beyound repaire ? also the logic board or can i still use the logic board with a new com.board please advice
Check battery still has charge with a multimeter,resolder if it’s ok and then see what happens. If it was only the metal shield it may be ok as it doesn’t contact any components.
