Chosen Solution
So this always happens on start up, it lasts from 5-10 minutes, disappears and back to normal. Also maybe after 3-5 consecutive hours of being on the lines may reappear but not as bad as the pictures shown. What would be my best direction to go? Purchase a new one? I would really like to keep this one if it’s fixable/possible.
This could be a T-con board or Main board error. Only part I do not like is that the menu etc. still shows in the background. Once you get the model number we may have more information about this. Update (05/19/2018) @tjames23x thanks for the pictures. This is a tough one based on the fact one can still see the outlines in the background etc. I would suggest a new main board and hopefully it is not the panel driver boards. If the main board does not resolve it you may need to take a close look at the panel etc. Let me know if you need help getting to the boards etc. and post some clear pictures of the boards as well
