I acquired a free 60” TV from a coworker. It will not *power on. When power is plugged in, the indicator light will turn on, a few seconds later the backlight will turn on for half a second then go off. A couple seconds later the indicator light goes out. All attempts to turn on the TV fail. Troubleshooting: Standby power is 4.99 vReturn power from the main board to trigger the power supply board is 3.4v during initial power being plugged in.Trying to manually turn on the power supply board by shorting the standby power and trigger pin results in no power on. No 12v power. Plugging in TV while pins are shorted does nothing.Initial power being plugged in, all LED drivers appear to be functional when the backlight comes on briefly. 12v power comes on briefly. Voltages [Pre backlight > During backlight > Post backlight] 24| 0 > ~3.2 > 0 22| 3.26 > flash negative > 0 19| .02 > .88 > 0 16| 0 > 3.23 > 0 15| 5 > 5 > 5 14| 2.09 > 2.09 > 2.09 13| 3.29 > .06 > 2.14 7 | 12.7 > ~10 > fade to 0 5 | 12.7 > ~10 > fade to 0 2 | 12 > 12 > 0 1 | 12 > 12 > 0 Power supply board DPS-168JP | RUNTKB057WJQZ I’m not sure where to go from here. Any help is appreciated.
@naps1saps since standby power voltage is present I would expect any blink codes. Since you have no blink codes I would focus on the main board. Just for kicks and giggles measure the voltages on your LED+ and LED- see what you get on start up. Also try to measure the voltages on connector PD (odd pins are the exposed ones on top. Pin 1 is top left with the connector opening facing you) let us know what you get on those.
you should get something like this 12.2 : Pnl_12v12.2 : Pnl_12v0 : Sgnd0 : Sgnd13.43 : Ur13v13.43 : Ur13v13.43 : Ur13v13.43 : Ur13v0 : Sgnd0 : Sgnd0 : Sgnd0 : Sgnd3.32 : Ac_det2.85 : Ps_on5.06 : Bu+5v3.27 : Pnl_pow0 : Vsync3.28 : Scl1.98 : Nc3.28 : Sda0.4 : Ofl3.29 : Error0 : Nc3.25 : Stb
