Looking to troubleshoot what is wrong with my Sharp lc-42sb45u thinking it may be the inverter board
@randyy123 that sounds like a power board issue possibly an inverter issue. You do want to go ahead and check a few things first. Something like this: Is BD901 (+320V) output? (Set the main power SW to OFF.) (LED) When power on/off switch is on ‧‧‧ About +400V Is a voltage of +5V applied to pin (11,12) of connector (CN902)? (Standby voltage) (Set the main power SW to OFF.) Let us know what you get with this. Of course it will always help to post some images of all of your boards with your question. that way we can see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that. For now, don’t just change boards based on a hunch. That could get expensive ;-)
