@anne38 sure it can be done. A camera like yours will need a good hand etc. I am sure you can handle this with the right information so take a look on here ManualsLib - Makes it easy to find manuals online!
Something as delicate as a camera sensor is very difficult to replace by normal means. It is do able but it would require a LOT of care, steady hands, patience, and a clean room. I recommend doing it through the manufacture. Don’t need to void the warranty on this. -SF
