I used the ifixit kit and a Crucial 128 SSD. I have checked that the drive works fine. But despite all the connexions have been checked twice, the SSD does not mount at all. Disk utility sees nothing. What’s wrong : the connecting cable ? Anything else ?
Try switching the drives to check out both the drives and the cables.
