Hello iFixt Community Just curious, has anyone worked on the HP ENVY X360 - 15M-BP112DX specifically? I have one that i suspect has a bad DC IN Connector. Just looking for a cheaper compatible part than what has been offered by HPPartSurfer ($51 +12shipping = $63ish)
@alnash28 since you’ve already narrowed it down and are “just looking for a cheaper compatible part” I recommend doing an online search. iFixit is not in the habit of recommending any cheaper alternative for parts. Answers like that would never be objective and will invite a lot of spammers that are going to promise you the world.
Hi @alnash28 Here’s a link to the service manual for your laptop, taken from this webpage. Scroll to p.61 to find the part number for the Power connector cable, - 933523-001 If you search online using the part number only in the search box of your browser, you’ll get results for suppliers of the part that may suit you better.
