Something strange has happened to my mac. I can sit and work on it, and Suddenly you do, the screen goes black, I can see how do you screen is turning off it’s like a wave,… it’s stay so for a few sec and it’s starting to come back, as normal. I have done a AHT but didn’t find any thing wrong. I have ssd for 2-3 years. Italian - 10.14.5 macOS Mojave regard
When that happens try and plug your Mac to an external monitor or TV so that we know if it’s a screen issue. In case the same behavior happens on the xternal source it would probably be a board issue. On the contrary, if it works fine outside while the screen is black it’s probably the Lcd panel going bad.
