I replaced my screen on my iPhone 6 plus a while back, and I tried to replace a broken camera on it today. I realized before trying to remove the camera that I had bought the wrong part, but when I reconnected the screen it lit up, but stayed black. I did in fact forget to disconnect the battery when I replaced the screen. I tested it using the old screen, which worked at first, but stopped working after testing it a second time. Is there anything that can be done to fix this?
Just backlight, confirm the phone boots up by plugging it into computer and opening up iTunes or 3utools it should detect it there. If it does, then the screen has just gone bad, has backlight but no image. You already tried unplugging battery and reseating the cables right?
You’re sure the cables are connected 100%, this can sometimes happen when they’re loose
