My phone got dropped face down on the floor. When I picked it up immediately, I could see there was no physical damage to the display but it started to fade and start losing the brightness, I tried to unlock it but it was unresponsive. It faded to a black screen and after restarting the phone the screen doesn’t even show the black screen anymore, it is just blank like not even turn on but the phone is working. I’m not sure if my screen is bad or something else is.
You will need to replace your screen as this is the most likely cause. If for some reason it doesn’t fix the problem you would start looking at the logic board and whether it is a no image problem or no backlight problem.
